Jesus Christ, the mayor of Mazan, where Gisele Pelicot was raped by some 80 men while drugged by her husband: "It's not that bad, no kids were involved, nobody died." I mean, sure, not all men, but fucking hell, that man, and those men.
There was NEVER anything wrong with wired earphones. The tiny inconvenience of a thin wire was nothing compared to the fuckaboutery involved with wireless ones.
We do not have "an abortion problem" in the UK. We have an evidence-based healthcare system working on the principle that women are human beings with agency over their bodies. Away with your American bullshit.
We have an abortion problem in the UK.
1 in 3 women (!!) will have an abortion in their lifetime.
Yet NO little girl grows up wanting to have an abortion.
So what’s going wrong?
"Fallen hero" 🙄 My dears, he shot his terrified girlfriend through a locked door. Can we please stop framing violent men as poor darlings who somehow fucked up?
Bit tired of "ooh bad journalists didn't cover the Post Office scandal". It's been covered for years: there have been two Panoramas, coverage of the court cases going back years, Radio 4 has done a series, Private Eye has been all over it, Computer Weekly has been on it for years
hello @KemiBadenoch, my mum died alone during lockdown, not having seen me and my siblings at all in the run-up to her death. Meanwhile, your lot were slurping warm white wine in No 10. My anger at this still burns; it is not "overblown".
One of the things that lightened my heart during the early lockdown was the way the BBC turned on a sixpence to put together curriculum-based learning content for kids. That's what public-service broadcasting is all about.
Sorry to keep banging on, but yeah, my mum died alone not having seen me, my siblings or her grandchildren because we were sticking to the bloody rules. I will never not be furious.
