    BREAKING -- Missouri AG Eric Schmitt and DSS get court order to immediately shut down Agape Boarding School. But before it was executed Thursday morning, the judge who signed it decided he wanted more information.
    Agape Boarding School is a faith-based boarding school in Cedar County in southwest Missouri.

    Eleven southeast Kansas school leaders attended a Branson retreat early last week. The first positive COVID-19 tests came back Friday. Now, six of the 11 have the virus. The others, including the superintendent, are in quarantine.

    Prisons in 12 states distributed The Star's survey. Of the inmates responding, 1 in 4 said they had been in foster care. “I moved homes every two weeks with hope ... I would be loved just for who I was. But my hopes were always crushed.”
