- You should prefer readability over performance in almost all cases
- I recently joined @vercel. I used lots of time to reduce the build times of web apps and I'm going to improve it of next js. I love the motto, "Make the web faster".

- Still, I'm not sure if I'll reveal the new TypeScript type checker as an open source. I don't mind individuals using it without any reward for my effort, but I don't want big companies to use it for free. This is the fundamental problem of the open-source world IMO.
- I'm exhausted by open source. Even the company I trusted has made me not want to do open source anymore. I'll still do it, but I need to take a break for a while.
