    In this interview, Ashanti basically says that she was manipulated and taken advantage of by Irv and feared that if she didn’t fuck that ogre, he wouldn’t let her record. He groomed and coerced her and we ALL know what that means.

    In 2018, I worked on an article with a Black survivor for a Black media outlet. The woman was adamant that she had been assaulted by a beloved Black man who worked in the tech space. Her story was in the gray area— a Aziz Ansari type assault. She pushed back, he coerced her.

    Literally more Africans were enslaved in Brazil than the entire US. Y’all have the very same if not worse race issues, esp around representation in the media. so don’t come over here acting brand new about why race matters in the US. Thanks!
