If you punish SMU for playing in this game and losing at the buzzer, then you need to get rid of Championship games. It’s that simple.

- Seeing all these K-State & Iowa State fans who travelled all the way to Dublin for a college football game is a great reminder that no matter what people try to tell you, football matters outside the SEC & Big Ten
- As of Fall 2021, Wake Forest has an undergraduate enrollment of 5,441. On Saturday, 4,233 WF students attended the Deacs football game vs. Duke. Add in 128 football players & the total was 4,361. 80% of Wake's student body was at Truist Field on Saturday. That's pretty crazy.

- The last time everyone agreed that a team outside the SEC & Big Ten had no shot in a championship game was in 2018. According to the talking heads, that Bama team was the greatest team ever. Clemson beat Alabama 44 to 16. You've got to let the teams play.
- I can understand the argument for Clemson at #5. I just want us all to admit that if any recent National Champions (Bama or Ohio St) had Clemson’s current resume and were the defending champions, they wouldn’t be #5. That’s the frustrating part.
