Today, I interviewed a candidate for a Junior Machine Learning Engineer position. I began with basic questions, but the candidate used buzzwords to explain concepts. When I probed deeper into those terms, she couldn’t provide clear explanations. I asked her to write code for

I find certifications a waste of time and money. I have only 2 Udemy certificates in my tech journey. I built two end-to-end ML projects and wrote about them publicly. My last four jobs, including my current one, came from CEOs messaging me directly. That's how simple it is.

I am 23 and leading a remote ML engineering team at a Canadian startup. Here’s my concise experience: I joined 1.5 years ago, working on multiple ML and LLM projects. Leading a remote AI/ML team is rewarding but challenging at a young age. - In startups, titles don’t matter; I

There are simply 2 approaches to mastering ML and getting a job: 1. Learn maths (basics), neural networks (in-depth), and transformers/stable-diffusion architectures. 2. Fine-tuning models, creating API gateways, building agents, and mastering ML system design.
