- I’m old enough to remember a few weeks ago when Walz cancelled a meeting with families of Gaza residents once he learned they had actual demands and weren’t just gonna let him get off on their stories of trauma and death 🙃
- Please also consider how mask bans will be used to remove children who mask at school from the care of their loving, science-informed parents. - I think a lot of us don’t necessarily realize that loss of taste and smell from covid isn’t like drinking too-hot coffee and having sand paper tongue for a bit. Losing a sense in this way is brain damage. And it sometimes can be regained! - Can confirm! I am in and out of hospitals a lot for work and to say they’re acting like it’s 2019 in there would be WAY too generous. PPE was typical in 2019; now it’s nowhere. Seeing AN other person masked during a visit is the exception.Understand your ER is not doing basic respiratory hygiene to prevent spread of disease and is not doing rapid COVID tests (despite a concerning national situation) which would save resources and avoid alternative testing to explain your symptoms. Bonkers.
