Call me crazy but there seems to be a bit of a feud between the $BTC maxis and the $HEX hexicans. I think this is counterproductive. The two tokens have slight overlap (like store of value) but the use cases and tech are quite different. Why fight? Embrace the relative strengths

The $HEX smart contract is like the mirror image of a “promissory note.” Instead of a promise to repay (debt contract), it is a promise not to sell (savings contract). The user who signs this contract and fulfills the promise then mints their own rewards as future payment.

Does $HEX need new buyers to keep the price constant? The $HEX contract #supply inflates at 3.69% per year, so I think #demand needs to increase at a comparable rate for a stable price. But this is not a Ponzi or hyperinflation. It’s how most #economic systems work.

Best $HEX video clip I’ve seen. @SIN3R6Y describes $HEX as an innovation in “users minting their own rewards.” $BTC miners mint their reward for supporting network consensus. $HEX stakers mint their reward for locking up supply. Great summary and link between two big ideas!
