- Every company is a company. However, on rare occasion, some companies become movements. The company ends up standing for something much larger and more significant than itself. These companies break the traditional paradigm - they can play chess when everyone else plays checkers.
- It feels like we are headed to two different financial markets - the traditional one where institutional support is the driver and a decentralized one where community support is the driver. When these two worlds meet in the same asset, there will be fireworks.
- Do you remember when: Berkshire Hathaway was a textiles company? American Express was an express mail business? Nokia was a pulp mill? Samsung was a grocery trader? Marriott was a root beer stand? Instagram was a check-in app? I don't - businesses evolve... Other examples?
