    Executive Order No 1 of 2020 is unconstitutional in so far as it purports to place the Judiciary, commissions and other independent offices under the Executive. Unless the Executive Order is rescinded within 7 days the LSK will challenge it in Court @NelsonHavi

    It has become the order of the day for govt to disobey court orders in a manner to suggest the Constitution is an inconvenience to them- @NelsonHavi pres, LSK in a press briefing on the President of the Republic of Kenya's refusal to appoint Judges & disobedience of court orders.

    President Uhuru Kenyatta acted with impunity in conferring rank of Senior Counsel on the 24 Advocates. The dispute on their recommendation for conferment is still pending in Court. We will abide by the outcome of the mediation that ensured therefrom whose report is expected soon.
