Calling women “Pick mes” for disagreeing is a sexist act itself. You can not put down other girls for disagreeing with you just to make yourself look better. I agree that you need to listen to women more. We can do so without putting eachother down.

The first person I talked to was Vic, that conversation unfortunately did not go as hoped. She constantly interrupted me and spoke over me. She blamed me for cornering her and cropped things out. I left out sensitive information because it isn't mine to share.

I completely agree with all this, I know I myself have been terrified to talk about my experience as I too have been in situations where I have been silenced or told to be silent and not speak up about my own issues as people have told me that no one would care.

I find it genuinely so disturbing how poorly women are actually treated in the MC event community. To think that people are denied opportunities or silenced and ignored purely because they are female is downright wrong. To think that women are subjected to constant s*xual 1/7

I agree that the event community needs to start listening to female/non-masc creators, I also think the hate between both parties is wrong. Anyway I will be back on twitter tomorrow :) I think we should all take a deep breath and continue being kind :)

Honestly insane hypocrisy where she was criticized and ostracized for trying to speak out only to be told time and time again to “not talk about it” “it wasn’t a big deal” “nothing happened” when there’s screenshots and evidence. Don’t die on a hill just to break it. :)

Imagine being on the side of a guy who used girls for photos just so you could play in his event. Then tell the victim not to talk about it -- OR see if she's okay. THEN shit talk her to your friend group and others to try and separate her from the community. Snakes🐍

I have agreed with a lot of points that have been made, I will not agree with putting other girls down. Fighting sexism is something we should all be united with not fighting with eachother and ourselves. Especially when it’s female voices we need more of.
