a great way to thank Comrade Teen Vogue would be to click on and read our articles on our website because these tweets praising our politics go viral maybe every other week but p much never result in increased site traffic! which is a good way to help us keep doing our jobs!

been seeing that NYT oped about the stratification of free vs. paywalled news so I made a sign to tap
"Don't make me tap the sign" meme: Teen Vogue has been online-only since 2018, and is 100% free to access. It's also one of only a few outlets providing completely free and, importantly, fact-checked, political reporting.

I was laid off from Teen Vogue today along with multiple other staffers on other sections, and today is my last day. certainly more to come from me when the dust has settled more, but to my knowledge, after today, there will be no politics staffers at Teen Vogue.

shoutout Stevie Nicks, whose first answer in this Q&A is just her rejecting mask-shaming and reminding people that it is simply logical, practical, and a good public health practice to mask! love you queen rollingstone.com/music/music-fe…
Where do you prefer that I sit?
You’re good right there, as long as you don’t think you have Covid.

No, I don’t.
Well, thank goodness we’re done [touring] for a while, so I can go home and not have a mask on all the time. As a singer with asthma, I fucking hate the masks, but I wear them. People give you dirty looks. I dare anybody to give me a dirty look. I would just say, “Hey, you know what? I’m Stevie Nicks. And if I get sick, my entire thing goes down. Forty families are out of work. So that’s why I have a mask on, asshole.”

I can’t get [Covid] again. I mean, I’m old, so I’ll only be around for another 15 years. But you guys have another 30 or 40 years, so you should think about it.

idk if the hot takes on Amber Heard realize but I would happily publicly list the ppl who have assaulted or abused me in order to prevent others from going through it again, and the only reason I don’t is defamation law—which has been used to silence survivors for years

Inbox: Cornell students allege yesterday was the “first [known] time a U.S. university has enacted deportation powers against a student” over pro-Palestine organizing, effectively deporting grad student Momodou Taal, over a protest of defense contractors at a job fair last week
Cornell University accused of discrimination over deportation of pro-Palestine British student
Students have accused Cornell University of discrimination after it moved to deport a British graduate student for taking part in a pro-Palestinian action on campus.
Momodou Taal, a 30-year-old graduate student, was suspended by the prestigious Ivy League institution on Monday following a student action last week.
Meeting with Tall on Monday, university authorities said they would inform immigration authorities of his suspension on Wednesday, after which he would have 48 hours to leave the country.
It is thought to be the first time an American university has enacted deportation powers against a student in response to a recent groundswell of Pro-Palestinian activism.
Taal says he is being targeted because he is an international student and therefore at risk of deportation.
He added that the university was using him as a scapegoat to shield it from criticism of its close academic and technolog
