- ian robb cares more about excellence and professionalism in the pokemon tcg than every single tpci employee combined
- one of the biggest traps I see mid pokemon players fall into all the time is taking very conservative 0% lines that just lose slower instead of risky ones that let you actually win some of the time. if you take 5 prizes and lose a lot you probably aren’t playing very well

- who cares where worlds is you degens are going to book thursday to sunday and aren't going to do anything except walk back and forth from hotel to convention center
- My opponent did not have acceptable sleeves to begin the round and had to leave the table in the middle of talking to judges to buy sleeves from the vendor. We received a 26 minute time extension and held the tournament up because my opponent was not ready to play
- I drew the line with tpci nonsense a long time ago over a lot less but man they sure love to send a loud and clear message that if you invest yourself in trying to be good at competing at their game you are a huge sucker

- It’s so ridiculous how many people it seems are entering these tournaments aspiring to 200th place and how everyone seems to be taking it for granted as a good thing. The point of the regionals isn’t to get 30 points for a worlds invite it is to try to win the regionals.yall are so worlds pilled and it’s crazy.
