Every "teach your kids to code" resource assumes your kid can read. Mine's 3. So I wrote a computational thinking curriculum for pre- and early readers. Unplugged activities, real CS concepts. 12 weeks of building real things together!

I've noticed that the price of fun with a kid is super cheap. Looking at rocks is fun. Paper towel rolls are fun. Making up silly games with no props at all is fun. Fun without a kid was: traveling, eating out, shopping, etc... way more costly Pretty sure I'm saving money on

I just realized I'm doing my kid a terrible disservice by only planning and keeping calendars on my phone, where he never sees them.

ever since our kid was little, i've been experimenting with ways to start mapping time to space a paper planner in particular creates an interesting surface area the child can start to visualize streaks he can see that things add up

We brought 2yo along to some appointments recently and got constant comments along the lines of "he's so well behaved!" or "he's so polite!" Like we just don't let our kid run wild? And model good behavior? It's work but not impossible!
