    I‘m a working class, indigenous Peruvian mother + tenant organizer. Before 2018, running for office was unthinkable for me. The movement led by @AOC and @BernieSanders inspired me. Together we‘re building a government that puts people over profit. Honored for this endorsement.

    WE WON!🌹 Together, we’re building a movement. I’m humbled by the thousand working class people that built + ran this campaign. Despite the challenges of campaigning during a pandemic, we showed the political establishment that we’re organized + ready to fight for a better world

    You can watch Andrew Cuomo’s 17 minute video or you can spend <2 minutes and hear everything you need to. Cuomo cut Medicaid. He lied about pandemic deaths for a book deal. He handed tax breaks to the wealthy. He bullied survivors of sexual assault. #DontRankCuomo

    With about 3,000 ballots counted, we are ahead by 7 votes as of 3:00 PM🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹 We have come incredibly far, but still have over 1,000 votes left to count. This is not over. Our all-star volunteer team will be at the Board of Elections until the last ballot is counted. ✊

    I was one of the people trapped on the #ManhattanBridge yesterday. The NYPD kettled 5K people on a bridge for 2 hours during a pandemic. I was preparing to be arrested, somehow we all made it off okay. This is why we need to #DefundThePolice and demand that #deblasioResign

    I never in my life would‘ve thought I- an indigenous Peruvian working class immigrant- would have been able to win an election like this. I’m honored and humbled by the support of every volunteer + voter. Together, we’ll continue to organize and build power for the working class

    Cuomo was a disaster for working class communities like mine. He raided MTA funds and let the subways crumble, closed hospitals, cut mental healthcare and totally mismanaged the pandemic. We need to keep him as far from City Hall as possible.
