For my Christian friends opposed to “Christian nationalism,” I’d like to make a request. Please stop making biblical arguments for what you think should be govt laws or policy. This is the essence of what CNs want to do, and your criticism doesn’t land when you oppose them

This is incredibly awkward for me. Dr. Yarnell (@MusingsOnChrist) has both criticized me (a mere PhD student), and he’s blocked me so that it is impossible for me to learn from whatever mistake he thinks I’ve made. Is this what I should expect from Christian academia?

I don’t buy that the low registration numbers for the @9Marks conference at @SEBTS mean that there’s less interest in the ecclesiology of 9Marks. The twitterverse may hate 9Marks, but I talk to pastors all the time who thoroughly appreciate 9Marks and the stuff they produce.

If you pastor a small SBC church, consider asking your church to allocate some of its “missions” dollars to pay for your trip to the @SBCMeeting. SBC churches give “missions” dollars to the Cooperative Program, and these are used by many committee members, trustees, SBC entity
