    I spoke yesterday on Scotland's Claim of Right. Self-determination is not uniquely Scottish. It's the #InternationalHumanRights of peoples around the world and I was glad to pay my respects to the people of #Catalonia and the political prisoners there struggling for their rights.

    SNP asked for Emergency Service VAT to be scrapped 139 times. I even asked a PMQ on it. If the Chancellor's u-turn is the result of Scottish Tory MPs as he says, it means UK Gov only charged VAT, starving our services of vital funds, out of sheer spite of the SNP. #Obsessed

    This is a tremendous win for the WASPI Women as the PHSO Ombudsman rules that they did suffer maladministration by the UK Government's Department for Work and Pensions. This is an extremely important step in securing justice.

    It is absolutely disgraceful that Westminster is saying to Scottish postmasters they can’t get justice at the same time as their English, Welsh & Northern Irish counterparts. This is a Westminster problem. Westminster must & should sort it. Here’s a 🧵on what I said last night

    UK govt is so desperate, it is allowing democracy in Catalonia to be trampled and denying the existence of political prisoners to gain Spain’s support in Brexit negotiations. Far from being the major global player Brexiteers imagined, UK is becoming an irrelevance on world stage.

    The incompetence of the Transport Sec has needlessly cost the public purse £110million because he gave a ferry contract to company with no ferries! Still no apology from the Secretary. If this was any other line of work, you’d be given your jotters. What would you spend £110m on?

    Today, in a debate on Scottish Independence, I challenged the British Secretary of State for Scotland on his Government's rhetoric around "levelling-up funds" and behaving as if Scotland receives handouts from the UK. #IndyRef2

    What a farce. If it wasn’t obvious before why we need an independent Scotland, last night made it crystal clear. The UK Parliament had the opportunity to do the right thing, instead self-serving Westminster reminded us how utterly broken it is. What I said ⬇️ #Independence

    148 votes of no confidence in the Prime Minister. 41% of his own party DON'T have confidence in him. Boris Johnson is now on borrowed time.
