i’m a bisexual, i’m not calling bisexual people not queer. im saying that queerness has to do with subverting your cultural context with your understanding of gender and/or sexuality. if it’s not doing that, then it’s not queer.

i’m using the term “sexual preference” here purposefully instead of “sexual orientation” because i’m referring specifically to the people you have sex with, not the people you’re intrinsically attracted to.
