- “Nobody likes abortions.” I do actually. I like that people don’t die from ectopic pregnancies or sepsis from missed abortions. I like that people don’t have to bear the pregnancy of their abuser. I like that people get to make choices about their body.

- Replying to @medburnbookI’m not hedging about abortion rights. I’m simply not. Even if we do get universal healthcare or free child care, people are still entitled to abortion & other reproductive rights. Period.
- spending some of my sexiest years on earth in medical training. the waste.
- You can be deeply passionate and committed to something and still not want to work 100 hour weeks the rest of your life. That’s sanity not laziness & yes I will die on this hill.
- I wish patients didn’t feel like they had to apologize for their bodies. You don’t need to apologize for dirty hair, no makeup, scars, lumps and bumps and rolls, smells, blood or bowel movements. I did not go into medicine for bodies to come to me conventionally “perfect.”
