- I'm thrilled to announce that, as of today, @Nature will consider Registered Reports for confirmatory research in cognitive neuroscience and the behavioral/social sciences. Please spread the word! @chrisdc77 @OSFramework @MarikeSchiffer @NatureHumBehav
- Where did you grow up? A new @Nature paper by @hugospiers and colleagues shows that if you grew up in a city organized on a grid, you are likely less good at navigation compared to your peers who grew up in places with winding roads nature.com/articles/s4158…

- On my last day of work in 2021, I want to highlight some of the great content that @Nature has published in the behavioral and social sciences. I’ll break these down into two threads: primary research (below) and another tweet on our special issue on computational social science
- Are you interested in computational social science? Ahead of @IC2S2 this year, @Nature @NatCities @NatComputSci and @NatureComms have put together a Focus highlighting some of our favorite recent papers. Check them out!
- Do you notice that there are fewer publications by women than men? A @nature paper shows that this is, in part, because women are less likely to be credited as authors for their scientific contribution @IRIS_UMETRICS @NYUWagner @M_B_Ross @BrittaGlennon
