After nearly four incredible years, today's bittersweet as I bid farewell to Twitter / @X. The journey's been unforgettable, thanks to the amazing people I've had the privilege to work alongside.
Grateful for the memories, and excited for the adventures that lie ahead!
Thanks for flagging this, @lulumeservey. Fully agree with you. The phrase we have used in our internal documentation is “awful but lawful”. We inadvertently reversed it in an important document, but will use the intended phrase going forward.
We're taking a significant step forward in our ongoing efforts to combat harmful content on @Twitter. Transparency and feedback are key, and we're doubling down. User trust and input are invaluable as we work towards a safer and more inclusive platform.
We’re adding more transparency to the enforcement actions we take on Tweets. As a first step, soon you’ll start to see labels on some Tweets identified as potentially violating our rules around Hateful Conduct letting you know that we’ve limited their visibility. 🧵
A few years ago I filed a patent application to detect when a person ordering an Uber might be drunk. @jimmykimmel made fun of the application on his show. Last week the patent was granted. Who’s laughing now, Jimmy? 😂😂😂
