- Today Daniel Andrews has betrayed Victorians - denying us hope, ripping the heart out of small business + taking a wrecking ball to our economy. Victorians have done the right thing. We deserve so much better than this.
- So…attacking politicians over their physical appearance is sexist, childish, disrespectful and wrong - except when the target is a Liberal man? Do I have that right, Tanya? 🤔
- Remember when Labor locked you up under a curfew and banned playgrounds claiming they were just “following the advice”? Now Labor is keeping people locked out of work by keeping vaccine mandates *against the advice* of the Chief Health Officer. #VoteLaborOut
- There can be no religious test to hold office under the Australian constitution. So why do we have one to run a footy club?
- 4 months ago I brought rapid antigen testing to Parliament. I said RATs are quick, accurate + key to getting Victoria re-opened sooner. Andrews called it “a stunt”. Now he’s complaining Victoria doesn’t have enough RATs. Never forget what Labor’s arrogance has cost Victorians
- 9 months ago today Victoria recorded its first case of COVID-19. 9 months is how long Labor has had to fix contact tracing and testing. 9 months later and we are locked up because Andrews still hasn’t fixed it. Victorians are paying a shocking price for Labor’s incompetence.
- Andrews’ power grab - trying to extend his State of Emergency powers over you to 18 months - is outrageous. Labor’s hotel quarantine scandal caused this 2nd wave but Victorians are paying the price. The Vic Liberal Nationals will fight this attack on the rights of Victorians.
- If you’re in metro Melbourne you’ve endured the pain of harsh lockdown + got the numbers below 5 a day. Now Andrews has given you nothing. He’s moved the goalposts - again. Any excuse to keep you locked down because he still hasn’t fixed contact tracing. Appalling. #springst
- He’s finally admitted it. Andrews wants to keep you under Covid controls. Permanently. That’s why he established emergency powers he can renew every 3 months for as long as he likes. Want your life back? Want government to be your servant, not your master? Kick Labor out.
- It’s being reported that Labor and some micro parties have done a behind closed doors deal to extend Victoria’s State of Emergency for a further 6 months. If true, it is a betrayal of Victorians. Liberal and Nationals MPs will vote against this grubby deal. #springst
- Andrews wants an indefinite State of Emergency in Victoria. A Premier who won't even allow the Legislative Assembly to sit wants even greater control over us. Not a chance - we are still a democracy. Victoria's Liberal Nationals will fight this power grab all the way #springst
- Labor's decision to close down playgrounds is heartless and cruel. Many kids don't have a backyard. They've been kept from school. And now Labor is stopping them even going to a playground. The mental health toll of Labor's COVID response will be horrific and long lasting.
