    Personal news: I was laid off at TechCrunch today along with a handful of Ops, Biz and editorial folks. All the best. TechCrunch has been my home since 2008. I grew up at TC. I traveled the world with TC. I became the fucking best at TechCrunch and it's their loss. DMs open.

    I was laid off from TechCrunch yesterday, and it's hitting hard. I spent my adult life building TechCrunch. I joined the gadget side run by @johnbiggs in 2008. By the time Aol purchased TC in 2010, CrunchGear made up 1/3 of the site's traffic. John Biggs changed my life. He

    It's been nearly two months since I was laid off from TechCrunch. A lot has happened! I connected with a lot of old friends, made new friends, had a lengthy hospital stay, and found some new projects. I'm thrilled to announce one of the new projects: The Resilience Conference.
