- A 20+ hour shift. There are no words to describe that shift. I'm shaken, to be honest. The pleas for help on social media from folks who couldn't get out & the folks stuck in their attics.. I just.. I'm rattled. That was a rough shift. The damage is extensive along our coast.💔😭
- 📣Now that it's been announced internally at our office, I can announce that I have been promoted to Lead Meteorologist at the NWS Office in Mobile. 🌟I was the first female general meteorologist hired at this office & I'll be the first female lead meteorologist at this office.

- Meteorologists questioning why there were fatalities during Buffalo's blizzard need to be actively listening on social media this week. Our one-size-fits-all method for pushing out preparedness & safety tips is good for many, but does not and will not ever apply to everyone. 1/3Telling people in one of the poorest cities in the country that they should’ve stocked up on 2 weeks worth of food and batteries when they are systematically living paycheck to paycheck is beyond me smh.
