- This is one of the most bizarre political photos I’ve ever seen. This is the British Home Secretary in apparent ecstasy at the building of detention centers in Rwanda where she dreams of sending desperate people. This is now considered normal?
- Individual racism = What Frank Hester said. Systemic racism = Diane having to sit silently while others discussed her life. Camouflaged racism = Garnering money and support from her pain while continuing to marginalise her.
- Last night, I was blocked from standing to be the next Labour MP for Camberwell & Peckham. I'm gutted. The Party is saying it has no place for an anti-racist socialist like me in Parliament. Thank you so much to all those who supported & worked on my campaign. My statement:
- The Home Office says most grooming gangs are white but the Home Secretary is determined the focus should stay on British Asians for some reason.
- After a week of race riots, there were rumors that the far right were planning to go to Walthamstow tonight. Walthamstow had other ideas. The vast majority of Britain rejects the bile coming from the racists, we will not have our neighbours being terrorized. No Pasaran!
00:00 - Kemi Badenoch just claimed ‘Islamic terrorism’ is a bigger issue for the nation than male violence against women. A women is killed by a man every 3 days in the UK.
- Replying to @kiel_robinsonVery easily. I’d allow anyone to fly to the UK without a visa if they claim asylum the moment they touch down. Then I’d make the processing system efficient and allow people to work so they are less of a burden on the state. I wouldn’t start by penalising desperate people.
- To be fair, we have some 'no go areas' in Battersea. Here's one - for most people anyway.Name one “no go area” in London.
- Uproar as Labour block activist from standing for parliament
- Whoever is playing ‘Things Can Only Get Better’ during Rishi’s announcement deserves a gong. Lol
00:00 - The only ‘no go’ areas in London are the gated ones that I’m too poor to access.
- The only events the Met police have been authorised to use baton rounds at in the last six years were Nottinghill Carnival and Black Lives Matter demos. Let that sink in and then tell me again about the Met's problems with racism are not institutional.‘Cops most want a ruck with Black people’ Met Police only authorised use of batons against Black-led events and stockpiled £1.5m of weapons voice-online.co.uk/news/uk-news/2…
- Arise Mother of the House, Diane Abbott MP. So proud to see you there. When you come for the Queen, you best not miss. Keep on keeping on Auntie!
