    With profound sadness, we convey that our Founder - Professor M S Swaminathan passed away this morning at 11.15 am at his residence in Chennai. Let's all pray for the departed soul.  May our beloved Professor rest in peace. @doctorsoumya @MadhuraFAS @nityarao63

    It is with great sadness that we inform the demise of Mrs Mina Swaminathan, Distinguished Chair, Gender and Development, M S Swaminathan Research Foundation. MSSRF is eternally grateful for her role and contribution toward gender equality, child development and women empowerment.

    .@msswaminathan passed peacefully at 11.20 am on Sept 28. His mortal remains are @mssrf 3rd Cross St, Taramani Institutional Area, Chennai 113, from 7 am on Sept 29 for public to pay respects. Cremation with full State Honours is at 12 noon on Sept 30 Besant Nagar Crematorium.
