I'm one of the scholars #Kwankwaso-led admin in Kano sponsored to do master's degrees abroad. I now have a PhD & teach at a German university. This is one of his many legacies. As unlikely as it really is, I wish Nigerians would elect him as their next president. He's qualified.

I watched a documentary about former Super Eagles player Tijjani Babangida, whose family recently suffered a tragic accident. His beautiful wife, Maryam Waziri, sustained critical injuries while his son and brother died. He was also lightly injured. Soon after the accident, his

I attempted to write about what I observed on our flight from Kano to Cairo last year, but I rescinded the idea. I was afraid of being accused of ethnic profiling. Now that the DSS operatives have arrested suspected kidnappers en route to Hajj, I feel happy and vindicated. I saw
