SoFi platforms should not sacrifice security and decentralization on the pretext of more user-friendly experience. You can be both onchain and user-friendly.
Social —> Onchain
Onchain L3 will be giving users daily portions (allocations) of tokens based on their engagement on Farcaster. These tokens can only be spent by interacting with the dapps on onchain L3 via a special method.
(2/7) We added to Highlight almost all of our boosters, wallets with a score above 500 and all the followers of @lamaboo.eth in Warpcast, which there were more than 20,000.
(7/7) For the game and subsequent activities we will use our own infrastructure. We already have experience working with heavy loads; from the moment we hosted the frame, we processed thousands of wallets per minute, scanning 50+ parameters on each of them.
(6/7) Mint was blocked for you not because you were not added to the criteria, but because Highlight could not process your request due to the high load. Chat with Highlight team member says that 100x people tried to mint 999 NFT.
(4/7) Something immediately went wrong from the start. According to Highlight team member, the marketplace was down due to the influx of bots. This attack lasted for more than two hours and Highlight periodically became available in some regions and went down in others.
(3/7) You had to meet any one of the criteria to participate in the mint. Our entire community was eligible. You can go and check the mint criteria on Highlight and make sure that one of the criterid to mint was to follow lama (click "view requirments" highlight.xyz/mint/660efee36…)
(1/7) We initially wanted to make sure that as many community members as possible could participate in the freemint. Obviously, for a channel of 20k users, the supply of 999 NFT is very tight and therefore competition was expected to be high from the start.
(5/7) Many users connected their wallets and saw that they were not eligible even though they met the criteria. The problem is that due to the overload of the highlight server, they could not process the whitelist and could not check whether you were eligible or not.
Today, we've released the dark mode and continue to work on core features that will bring new experience and fun to SocialFi.
Thank you for the valuable feedback that you continue to provide.
