I have to say this: for those working in the humanitarian & emergency contexts, especially with international humanitarian organizations; your work might bring satisfaction to you, but those of us at the receiving end of your work in most cases lose our dignity in the process.

My dream is to see fewer people aspiring to become humanitarian aid workers, and more people who wake up each day with a burning anger towards the injustices that create humanitarian crises, and who are genuinely willing to do everything they can to eradicate such injustices.
