US pushes back strongly in South China Sea; UK bans Huawei; India puts restrictions on investments; Australia take steps to diversify trade; Japan decides buy 105 F-35 combat jets. And we are told the Chinese are masters at diplomacy and long-term strategic thinking. Ha!

Manohar Parrikar would be happy (wherever he is) to see CCS clearing purchase of 83 LCA Tejas. He as Defence Minister forcefully persuaded IAF to induct Tejas and better versions of Tejas in stages. Without his intervention, Tejas would still have been in development stage.

If you think Delhi is experiencing a cold wave, have a look at these braves from the Border Roads Organisation working at the Zozi La, keeping the Srinagar-Leh highway open under the most adverse weather conditions. In earlier years this road used to close in late November.

So I reconfirm to you that these ‘pink things’ in this much circulated satellite pix is indeed of Indian ‘sangars’ on the Indian side of the LAC in Galwan valley. The colour is pink because of a certain equipment that I leave you to guess. So much for satellite imagery analysis!
