Before anyone casts a vote for Farage they should acquaint themselves with the way he behaved when he was an MEP. He was the 748th worst attendee out of 751. He turned up for only a third of votes. He was fined for misuse of EU resources.

I’m in London this weekend. Contrary to X posts, the streets are litter-free, the Tube trains graffiti-free, it looks fabulous in the sunshine and everyone is enjoying themselves peacefully. I’m still alive and haven’t been robbed.

    Replying to @PetronellaWyatt
You don’t help the cause of working women by focussing on her dress, which I thought was somber and professional, instead of what she said and what her team have been doing. I’ve seen many news and weather presenters wearing similar. She’s a detective, they don’t wear uniform.

So Jacob Rees-Mogg went with his kids to Chequers during lockdown. He creates an idyllic picture of his kids playing cricket with the PM on the lawn. Perhaps he can explain what the hell business his kids had being there?

Being at work after 6pm doesn’t make you a better worker. Being at home with your kids at 6pm on a Friday definitely makes you a better Dad. I’m voting for a man who has his priorities straight. Vote Labour.

What has happened to Sky News? It used to a place you could go for reasonably balanced, non partisan news coverage. Now it’s like Fox News on steroids. I’m running out of places to get proper news, as opposed to hysterical gossip mongering.

Priti Patel, Michael Gove, Gavin Williamson, Liz Truss, Boris Johnson and Robert Jenrick have something in common. They all were found to have breached the ministerial code but didn’t resign. So if any Tory has anything to say about Angela Rayner’s resignation remind them of it.

Great news for Reform. They no longer need to order an UberXL if they all want to go somewhere together.

Reform now down to three MPs. It’s like a bad Agatha Christie play.

I’m not Jewish. I’m not Muslim. But I stand with people from every religion and ethnicity that live here or came here to make a life. I am ashamed of Anderson. I am ashamed of Braverman. I am ashamed of Kenrick. I am ashamed of Truss. They don’t represent or speak for me.

The attacks on Starmer are intensifying. There is some serious money being spent mounting this coordinated attack on our democratically elected government. Those who own the largely right wing media outlets are soiling themselves with fear at what he might do.

It seems to me that we are no longer going to have stable government in this country (whatever party is in power) unless someone gets a grip of the media. There are far too many sensationalised and unsubstantiated stories allowed to be published and far too much gossip.

Sunak warning of going ‘back to square one’ with Labour. Hilariously threatening us with a good time. Back to a time when you could get a GP appointment, find a dentist, catch a train or bus, go to a library or swimming pool, use a Surestart centre and afford to pay your bills.

Yaxley-Lennon in Athens, Farage in Hong Kong, Lozza in Ireland and Sunak in California. Is this Right Wing Race Across the World?
