- This looks like the first UB set since The Lord of the Rings that makes sense in the MTG universe.
- I feel sorry for the new generations that didn't get the chance to explore the game how Garfield intended. As a child, playing in the school, we had to ban Pacifism because it was too broken. 2 mana deal with your monster wasn't fair.The Magic I fell in love with.
- Bought a Japanese Scepter online to realize afterwards it belonged to 2 time World Champ Julian Nuijten. Don't let things like "metagame" or "bad match ups" crush your dream of playing your pet deck. TOP 8 of #PTEOE playing "feel smart" UW control.
- Pre release used to feel like Christmas, where competitive and casual players gathered to play a tournament with new toys. It was a long day of playing new cards and the winner walked off with a ton of boosters. Now it's buying 6-8 boosters to play 3 rounds, nothing special.prerelease has got to be one of the worst value proposition events in magic
- Middle of day 1, my teammate played Dimitrov in a Domain mirror. Game goes very long, and Dimitrov was casually misstriggering 2 beanstalks trigger while having ~10 cards in the library and had to be reminded. At that point it didn't feel suspicious, now it starts to make sense.Shot. Chaser.
- Hot take: This are the Best sleeves ever made, sadly wizards keeps printing double face cards and you can't use them anymore.
- I felt way more excited for Tarkir than for the Final fantasy set. Since I have no connection to FF, it looks like a weird set with a bunch of bad artworks.
- Paper magic is way better than any online version.
- MTG arena is the best platform to play magic and worst way to play competitive magic.
- I love basic land selection,( I own a big basic lands collection). And Ilike the story they have to tell more than the artwork. This were my choice for this tournament.
The Basic Lands That Won Pro Tour: Edge of Eternities - Summary of modern: - I do well in a tournament: It's the best it has ever been, healthy format, variety. -I do badly: UB sets and MH killed modern, format sucks. Why isn't amulet banned yet? We need pioneer back.
