Those people who suggest the Michaela pupil should have chosen a different school would presumably have suggested that Rosa Parks should have stayed in the back of the bus because she "knew the rules when she got on board."

- Some personal news : after 114 terms of school life behind me and my 60th birthday next month, this is my last week of full time work in education. I’ll still be working 0.6 on my coaching and consultancies, but the kids on this register are now in their mid-fifties. It’s time.
