    I’ve read heartbreaking books about 9/11 but the piece of writing my brain recalls every year is the bizarre first-person account of the Toronto Star writer who happened to be in New York when the towers came down. Unfortunately for the Star, that person was their fashion editor.

    Formatting is tricky. Sometimes in Microsoft Word if you're trying to add an indent in one paragraph what can happen is it inserts citations to seven different studies that don't exist.

    Basically everything Biden tried to do - ban noncompete agreements, student debt forgiveness, cracking down on payday lenders, etc etc etc - was immediately blocked by nationwide injunctions from the Fifth Circuit. Next Dem president may have just been unshackled.

    Fontana police interrogated a man for 17 hours, threatened to kill his dog, withheld medication so he went into withdrawal, until finally he broke down, confessed to killing his father, then tried to hang himself. His father was alive perfectly fine.
