So, the government has decided it doesn’t need a WARRANT to enter a home under the Alien Enemies Act? Two thoughts: 1. Yes, it does. And a JUDICIAL warrant at that. 2. If federal agents enter your home without a warrant, reach out. I would like to sue them (pro bono). 1/2

The gov't's arguments against returning Abrego Garcia should make your blood run cold. The gov't claims if it can ship a person to a foreign jurisdiction, they're gone. There's no limiting principle. It can make these arguments for intentional renditions of U.S. citizens. 1/

Unless I’m missing something, this is about as clean of a First Amendment retaliatory arrest scenario as you could conjure up. I hope @TheFIREorg holds these officers accountable in court.

Las Vegas police immediately arrest two streamers because one insulted them ("honor your oath, bitch"). "You need to learn there's rules: don't run your mouth at me. Now you're on your face." That is not a rule the First Amendment allows. @LVMPD: what are you doing about this?

The Atlantic has conceded: these were NOT “war plans.” This entire story was another hoax written by a Trump-hater who is well-known for his sensationalist spin.

I cannot understand how anyone thinks it’s a negotiating win for the U.S. government to raise taxes on Americans in exchange for lowering taxes on Britons. But I don’t want to be a bad sport. So congratulations to Britain, I guess.

The President lacks the power to suspend habeas corpus under Article II. That power is exclusive to Congress under Article I.

Stephen Miller says the White House is looking into suspending habeas corpus, which protects people from unlawful detentions: "A lot of it depends on whether the courts do the right thing or not."
