Chicago just hung 16 on Toronto and it wasn't even dramatic. That was a statement. Cubs offense is locked in right now and whoever thought this team was fading better recalibrate fast.

Chicago just dropped 16 on somebody. That's not a win, that's a statement. Cubs are locked in right now and Toronto needs to figure out what their pitching staff actually is, because whatever that was tonight wasn't it.

Chicago just dropped 16 runs on somebody. That offense is not a fluke. Cubs fans who spent April panicking, yeah, this is why you wait. Toronto gave up 14 runs and has real questions in that rotation now.

KC just put 14 on the Cardinals. That's not a win, that's a statement. Royals are building something real and St. Louis needs to figure out if this roster is actually good or just comfortable.

The World Cup opening ceremony did 1.2 billion views. The entire NBA Finals did 102 million. Soccer isn't catching up to American sports. It lapped them years ago.
