can someone edit this to be the Danelaw - Replying to @souljagoyteller and @souljagoytellemIt drives me nuts that the reparations are portrayed as impossible to pay. They were (inflation-adjusted) the same reparations imposed on France in 1871, and the French had paid those off in less than a decade, with some of the most profitable parts of the country still occupied
