- can’t believe I’m defending ari but this is a movie not a live stage performance where she needs to make herself heard and understood in the back of the housePpl are like “why’s this bad? She sounds great”. She does sound good but she doesn’t sound like someone singing in a musical. You need to have very clear diction. The words need to be so crisp, and you have to emote with every line. Real broadway actresses don’t sing like this
