Quinn, 3-year-old son of Officer Tara Waters, is currently at home in isolation after several rounds of chemo. His only way of seeing people is “in his window" so our Special Operations Unit (SOU) recently stopped by to pay him a visit! #TheMightyQuinn #medulloblastoma

We are happy to report that Detective Thomas Pepdjonovic, a 14-year veteran of QPD, is in stable condition at BMC and is expected to make a full recovery. We thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers. 🙏

This evening, Officer Kaes responded to Willard St on a report of a opossum whose 2 siblings died. Unable to find a wildlife center to take him, & fearing it may die if left outside, Officer Kaes brought Stone Cold Steve Opossum, as he’s been named, home for the night 💕

Thank you Officer Kaes for rescuing a saw-whet owl this evening! Officer Kaes “escorted” it to #Weymouth to be rehabilitated. Saw-whet owls are one of the smallest owl species in North America! 🦉

Welcome home Connor! On January 8th, North Quincy High School Hockey Co Captain Connor Kulig suffered a spinal injury in a game against Scituate. Since that time, he has been hospitalized. This morning, members of our Special Operations Unit escorted Connor home! #ConnorStrong
