    Today, we announced that Walmart is offering Even as a benefit to more than 1.4 million associates nationwide. The NYT has the details:
    A Walmart fulfillment center in Bethlehem, Pa. The company is offering payday advances — not loans — through an app called Even. Some critics of the retailer’s labor practices say it should raise wages instead.

    We use "Embodied Companion" to differentiate from the first generation of AI chatbots: You talk with your Tolan naturally, like a friend. They are animated and responsive to your touch and voice. They have unique preferences and personalities, and over time they form memories
