my daughter's middle school has 'affinity groups.' about 20% of the day spent doing stuff in groups. divided by sex, sexuality and also jewish/not jewish and race. she picked the asian group. their poster is all about pagodas and pandas and sushi

We had a Lebanese student in my freshman dorm who said the number of Jews on the hall made her uncomfortable because of her childhood experiences and then Jewish students said her antisemitism made them uncomfortable and then the RA told everyone to shut the fuck up.
