    So this season I shall be mostly wearing...#theatrecapchallenge ;) - I guess if we want to make team communication better, we’ve got to start leading/making it easy- Late to the game but will be interested to monitor if any positive effects.

    It looks like this single graph is set to devastate @NHSEngland workforce planning as senior people run for the exit and across the board the most experienced people in our hospitals now slash their job plans & delivery

    Following lessons from Lombardy & Wuhan, whilst we deal with wave 1, should UK hospitals start formal planning for next waves 2 & 3 ? Especially in those areas not so severely hit, wave 2/3 task forces should be ready, anticipate & mitigate size of curves between pandemic cycles

    Left hospital at 2.30am last night after case on call - not a soul around- but someone left this pebble at the car park entrance- a strange, odd item to come across at a strange, odd hour, but thank you to whoever did it -thought about comforting message all the way home - #hope

    I’ve been quiet recently...reflecting & trying to process the passing of a close colleague after a long, brave fight with severe illness. He was unique, fun, warm & truly lived & loved life. Rest in peace and sunlight Jon. Thoughts are with his family & friends.

    Delighted to read the recognition from @NHSEngland for @Newcastlehosps Major trauma Centre, where the team were one of only 5 major centres in England that has a statistical numbers of excess survivors compared to average. What a brilliant achievement by everyone involved!
