    This is it folks: sideloading is coming to iOS (at least for our EU friends), and maybe full-blown 3rd party app stores too As someone who’s been running a 3rd party app store for past few years...this will greatly affect me 🤪 So perhaps unsurprisingly, I have some thoughts 🧵

    Thanks to this change in iOS 14.2 — and combined with the new “Extended Virtual Addressing” entitlement — it’s now possible to emulate GameCube and Wii games at 100% speed WITHOUT jailbreaking or using private entitlements 😱

    Yes, the rumors are true: iOS 14.2 finally lets apps use Just-In-Time (JIT) compilation without any hacks whatsoever 🤯 This is *huge* for performance-heavy apps like @UTMapp and @DolphinforiOS, and AltStore 1.4.2 beta is now available for all Patrons who want to try it out 🥳

    While fixing some more iOS 13.3.1 bugs, I accidentally discovered a *massive* performance improvement for refreshing apps! Now refreshing all apps can be done in just a few seconds over WiFi 😍
