    Today is Sci-Hub anniversary the project is 10 years old! I'm going to publish 2,337,229 new articles to celebrate the date. They will be available on the website in a few hours (how about the lawsuit in India you may ask: our lawyers say that restriction is expired already)

    nature has actually contacted me for comment about accusations that Sci-Hub is a threat, here is my full response / it is clear that academic publishers care about their money, not about security of other people

    Unlike Sci-Hub, Z-Library never was a political project and never cared about Sci-Hub fighting for free access to knowledge as a human right. Few months after Z-Library founders were arrested by FBI, they finally changed their mind:

    yesterday I noticed problems when trying to open Sci-Hub website: at first, I was thinking that is some DDoS attack, but after checking again today, found out that sci-hub.se domain that was resistant for many years has been deactivated :( use sci-hub.ru

    on January, 6 2021 Twitter has banned Sci-Hub account @Sci_Hub with 185K followers. People are currently trying to contact Twitter to unblock it. Until then you will be able to get Sci-Hub news here: @Sci_Hub_tweets

    I updated Sci-Hub, now you can watch download statistics in real-time, monthly stats and other. Will add more in the future. sci-hub.se * in previous I accidentally counted more than 30 days period. here the corrected stats for downloads per each country

    Those people who say: Sci-Hub should not exist, papers should simply be free in the first place. Using the same logic, police should nor exist, courts should not exist, and GOVERNMENT should not exist. All people simply must be honest in the first place.

    it was really disgusting to read they ask me to accept their EFF Pioneer award 'on behalf of Sci-Hub' Why did not they want to give the award to me directly? Sci-Hub is my sole creation; it is not an organization and never had any team. in 1998 they awarded Torvalds, not Linux.
