My contention as it will be every year is to avoid big corporate, predominantly white rodeos and state fairs. Take your monies and go support actual Black rodeos. The mains have already announced their 2026 seasons and there are many community Black rodeos throughout the year

Losing Frankie Beverly and D’Angelo in back to back years is disheartening to me because these are two artists that understood and were uncompromising in keeping the vamp in Black music, letting a song smoke a bit. Too many songs now that sound like snippets
