- Folks. I’m tired of washing my hands before surgery so I’m not going to do it any longer. If you get an infection, it’s not my problem.
- Replying to @SteveCicirelliDid you ask AI to write a reply kindly suggesting that papers written with artificial intelligence aren’t acceptable?
- A version of this should probably be placed in every hospital in the world.
- Not sure I want the ticket to change, but I know one thing, I’d get me a big bucket of popcorn to watch Buttigieg wipe the floor with JD Vance’s dignity, and then clean off the camera lenses for completeness ….
- Doesn’t convicting a single person for a medical error go against everything we try to do in patient safety? No medical error is one persons fault.

- #1 - Imagine having to call your partners to ask, "I'm not crazy, right? This is a liver, not a spleen?" #2 - Imagine having to call the surgeon to say, "Hey, that spleen you sent me...That wasn't the spleen. Yeah, I'm sure. That's a liver."
- I call patients in the evening after outpatient surgery. I accidentally transposed a number when I sent this message. It is purposely vague to avoid a HIPAA violation. 1) We need to teach HIPAA in high school so people understand 2) We really need to be nicer to one another!
- Message: "Patient's family extremely upset you haven't spoken with them." Me: "They weren't in the waiting area after surgery and haven't answered five phone calls attempting to contact them."
- Med student wants to be a GI doc. Showed up to clinic with a notebook filled with info on all the patients that we are seeing for the day. Be like this med student!
- Small note: a text message at 1am to request a letter of recommendation is not the best way to ask....
- What kind of sociopath changes their password when there are still 9 good days left with their current password?!?
