I started at ConsenSys 8 yrs ago with other optimists building profound tech to "save the world from centralized and corrupted platforms."
Since then, we’ve been victimized by corrupt govs, cex frauds, and hacks (like this one). And watched as
Yesterday at approximately 1:30 PM ET, a sophisticated attacker gained unauthorized access to a developer key to withdraw ~30M DIMO (3% of supply) from a Wormhole bridge contract.
The DIMO token, network, and user accounts, assets, and data remain secure.
The exploit was
DIMO featured as a partner next to Lucas Oil, ESPN, Nascar, NBC, and Fox Sports on the website of a major national auto warranty company. Probably nothing.
