- I feel bad for @BadgerFootball coach Luke Fickell and his family. Two of his sons — Ashton and Aydon — are juniors at Edgewood and both suffered season-ending knee injuries recently. Here's hoping for a full recovery.
- On Sunday, #Packers CB Jaire Alexander will miss his 31st game in GB's last 65. The Packers can save nearly $7 million in cap room by dumping Alexander in 2025 — which is exactly what they should do. My story at @ForbesSports

- Last 7 years of Gard: — missed tourney, UW’s first miss in 19 years; also had losing record — smoked in 1st round as a 5 seed to a 12 seed — pandemic — 2nd round — 2nd round - lost to 11 seed as a 3 seed, in Milw. no less — NIT — this sorry 1st round loss as a 5 vs. a 12

- I'll never understand how @BadgerMBB chose not to pursue Milan Momcilovic of @PewaukeeHoops. Momcilovic had 29 and 18 in huge win over terrific @WiscoBB tonight. He's 6-8, an A+ shooter, unselfish, getting stronger and seems to fit everything Bucky does.
- Not just Domask, but how about these Wis. kids Gard missed on: - Knueppel - Janowski - Milan - Rohde - Podzimski - Baldwin (weird case, but still ...) - Joplin - Hunter - Herro - Hausers (twice) - Haliburton - Jalen Johnson - Poole - State talent has been nuts & most of it exitsReplying to @robreischel and @BadgerMBBWhen the Wisconsin kid (Waupun Domask) came up to the Kohl Ctr and lit up the Badgers that was the moment I knew Gard needed to be fired.
