    Apple says that today it will put protective plywood over the Black Lives Matter murals on its downtown Portland store to preserve the historic artwork “for future donation." The company says it will have details on long-term plans for the murals early in 2021.

    Subscribe to your local newspapers. Tell them why you’re subscribing. Demand that the papers cover important, local news. Keep telling publishers, editors and reporters about news that matters. Insist they cover it.

    New Intel CEO @PGelsinger addressed employees today. Among the challenges he listed — Intel needs to be better than Apple at making CPUs. “We have to deliver better products to the PC ecosystem than any possible thing that a lifestyle company in Cupertino." More to come.
