The biggest reason we don’t have more walkable neighborhoods is because they are illegal youtu.be/4UAZMEpOKTI?si…

This is within 10 feet of someone’s front door. We just let cars do this, everywhere

I love this headline so much. People that actually need a truck want a small one

When you see all the great walkability in Mexico City, it’s no wonder this city is thriving

I’m going to say it over and over until the gap closes. The majority of the US wants to live in a walkable neighborhood. But only 8% does.

When you build for people instead of cars, you get to build something that looks like this. Green is the first main courtyard

I’ve been waiting so long for this moment. Our car-free Paseo, the central spine of the neighborhood, is open to the public.

Props to REI for helping drive support for the EBIKE Act. Today, electric cars get $7500 subsidies and electric bikes get none. Yet all cars already receive enormous subsidies in the form of roads (which cars then destroy). A subsidy for ebikes is a sensible policy we should

It’s not just Tampa. Everyone is waking up to how deep the demand for walkability is. 92% of Gen Z would pay more to live in a walkable neighborhood. Every city is in a dogfight to become more walkable before the others do. Even if they don’t know it yet.

When is Google Maps going to have an ebike travel estimate? It’s going to turn heads and open wallets when bike times are faster than cars.

I’ve had hundreds of people tell me they bought their first ebike as a result of this sale. We subsidize electric cars to the tune of 15 times the price of this bike. We don’t subsidize electric bikes at all. Imagine the impact if we did.

This RadMission sale is the best deal I’ve ever seen on an ebike. I bought 10. They are already out of 3 of the 6 colors, get one quickly.

Excited to share that we’ve raised a $30M Series A led by @khoslaventures, along with @foundersfund, LENx (@Lennar), Byers Capital, @ziggcap, and @Initialized. This capital will accelerate our mission to build cities for people, not cars.

Leave a car sitting while it costs $600/mo and nobody bats an eye. Take $300 in Ubers to a car-free month somewhere, and people lose their minds.
